New Counselor Institute

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) today announced final financial accountability ratings for more than 1,200 school districts and charter schools across the state, with 85 percent earning the highest rating possible for 2021-2022.

Nearly $55.5 million in additional funding was awarded for Texas teacher compensation during the 2021-2022 school year

Region 16's Elementary Teacher of the Year is Tiffany Ryals from Amarillo ISD.

The Region 16 Secondary Teacher of the Year is Tricia Shay from Borger ISD.

Region 16 is proud to announce the Amarillo Highland Park Board of Trustees has been named the 2022 Outstanding School Board of the Year for our region.
