(Updated 6/1/23) ASCENDER System Generated Emails:
Please communicate the following with technology and other appropriate staff in your district. Being aware of the reminders below will help prevent important emails ending up in spam or junk folders.
ASCENDER is currently using the email address that each district has specified in the From Address field in District Administration > Options > Email Preferences, when composing an ASCENDER generated email message.
Beginning June 5:
ASCENDER will be using the From Address [email protected] for system generated emails from ASCENDER for all districts. Some examples of these types of emails would include Wage and Earning Statements, Purchasing emails, Vendor EFT notifications, etc.
ASCENDER Teacher Portal will be using the From Address [email protected] for system generated emails from the Teacher Portal. An example would be an administrator receiving a discipline referral sent from the Teacher Portal.
ASCENDER Parent Portal will be using the From Address [email protected] for system generated emails from the Parent Portal. Examples of this would be grades or attendance alerts that parents have set up to receive by email or a verification email a parent receives when creating an account.

Also, it is important to note that district technology staff be aware of the ascendertx.com domain and that whitelisting it in network filter settings may be needed so that traffic and processing of ASCENDER is not adversely affected.
