Release 9.0510 improves the extraction logic for Ed-Fi StaffEducationOrganizationEmploymentAssociation Entity > DaysEmployedSet to filter out invalid records. Now, records where tsds_nbr_days_empld = 0 or values exceed 365 days will no longer be extracted, preventing unaffiliated staff members from being included in submissions. Additionally, corrections have been applied to ensure proper resetting and re-extraction of impacted records.
- Fixed Issues: Regression Bug – Fixes issues with auxiliary role entries in extracted employment records.
ASCENDER Student Highlights:
Release 9.0510 addresses an issue where the p_update_for_tea_fatals.sql script was incorrectly updating the end_date in the Sybase database. The update now prevents this field from being modified in specific tables per business rules, ensuring consistency in student data.
Addresses 30090-0007 – Prevents unintended updates to end_date in edfi_stf_sec_stg.
ASCENDER Administrative Highlights:
Release 9.0510 enhances the District Administration > Tables > District Information > TSDS Fall Finance Data screen by adding new data validation and additional fields. The update introduces new columns for Budget and Payroll selections, including End Date, Status, and Action Type, to improve tracking and reporting. Duplicate record validation has also been implemented, and modifications to deletion-marked records have been disabled.

ASCENDER Student Highlights:
Release 9.0515 addresses several critical updates to student data processing, improving the accuracy of data extracts and trigger functionality. Key updates include modifications to triggers that ensure proper updates to student records when graduation dates change. Additionally, enhancements to the Title I Part A Program Association extract now correctly report students with multiple campus transfers. The Foster Care extract has also been updated to prevent duplicate records when begin dates are modified.

ISSUE/GUIDANCE:
2024-2025 PDM1-124-004 PEIMS School Leaver Roster - Associates Degree Column will display the code (2,3,4,5, or 6) when applicable. If you have reviewed the report and don't see the correct value displaying for the graduated student from 23-24 school year it needs to be entered on the prior year Graduation Plan > Maintenance > Student > Individual Maintenance > Performance Acknowledgement page.
An extract and send and promotion and validation for Fall PEIMS and rerun of the stated report would need to take place to ensure the data is submitted successfully.
