Class Roster Submission Fatal follow up and OCR due date reminder

ISSUE with Class Roster Winter Submission: Withdrawn Students causing CRW fatals - 40100-0197, 40110–0223, and 40110-0224:

TCC identified a lingering data issue for withdrawn students. The course sections with entry dates after the withdrawal date were not deleted. The error in the code causing this issue has been resolved, but some student data still needed clean up. This issue is triggering CRW fatal errors 40100-0197, 40110–0223, and 40110-0224. 

SPECIAL NOTE

SQL was applied Friday (2/21/25 - 10:30am) on all TCC Hosted clients to send delete records for withdrawn student sections.   

ACTION REQUIRED: Verify fatal errors cleared completing an successful extract/send and promotion/validation for Class Roster Winter Submission.





OCR Due date reminder - March 7, 2025: 

 

  • Many districts have contracted with Region 16 to assist with OCR. If you are not sure if your district is contracted with Region 16 for support, check with your Superintendent.

 

  • Districts NOT contracted with Region 16 can contact us for assistance with using ASCENDER>OCR Application in the preparation of reporting data to the CRDC. An updated training guide is available in ASCENDER > OCR. There is some data you will be responsible for reporting that IS NOT available in ASCENDER.  An ASCENDER help desk ticket can be entered here.

 

  • Specific questions related to the collection must be directed to the Department of Education Office for Civil Rights (“OCR”).  Contact and Resource information for OCR can be found at https://crdc.communities.ed.gov/#program

 

  • 2023-24 data submission opened Dec. 9, 2024 and will close (due on) March 7, 2025.

 

  • TIPS - Review PEIMS reports and ASCENDER reports from 2023-24 to help assist with data being submitted in OCR.
